To secure his family’s future, Benjo allows his barbershop to be used as a drop off and pick up point for three unassuming Styrofoam boxes. Not knowing that the boxes contain “grease money” for the vast smuggling network in the province, Benjo is assaulted by Cito, the Governor’s right hand, for his involvement in the illegal operation. At knife point, Benjo’s loyalty is tested. His decision impresses Cito and paves the way for Benjo’s mentorship to be part of the Governor’s “inner circle”.
