Filipino language question.

“tumulog” vs “matulog.” “humanap” vs “maghanap.”
Each set could be expressed, respectively, as “go to sleep” & “look for [something].”

What’s the difference?

I’m more used to “matulog” & “maghanap,” but they’re not said that way elsewhere.

As a non-native Tagalog speaker, I find β€œtumulog” unusual and haven’t heard it used.
