parang you need to read moar to encounter the words chassis and segue? pero though and thought, common na supposedly.

makes you want to ask now kung dapat bang i-tagalize ang majority ng english media o dapat may balance.

Or at least gawing mandatory ang English subtitles on English shows. Educational yon for hearing people to decipher spelling/pronunciations. Aside from accessibility for deaf people, of course.

"Engage" (engines, startup sequences, etc) works just fine, covers every base. Spock's "Proceed" is too formal (but fits w/ a younger Seven). She's never met Kirk, so "Take us out," doesn't quite click. "Begin," "Commence," & "Execute" are too clunky. https://twitter.com/TheTrekCentral/status/1649835721723719680

The Office of the Bangsamoro Mufti has declared that since the mooncrescent was not sighted after conducting moonsighting, Eid’l Fitr will be on Saturday, April 22.

Earlier, Malacañang already declared Friday, April 21 as holiday for the observance of Eid’l Fitr. | @erikreports pic.twitter.com/81lNJ7YpwT

It still follows Arroyo’s (now M/arcos’s) holiday economics.

And on yet another level, they should beef up their cybersecurity systems and practices, but for fuck's sake, use their existing budgets. Otherwise it'll just be another avenue for kickbacks and corruption without any tangible gains in competence.

‪To think that there are cyber crime offices under those affected agencies. ‬

Filipino language question.

"tumulog" vs "matulog." "humanap" vs "maghanap."
Each set could be expressed, respectively, as "go to sleep" & "look for [something]."

What's the difference?

I'm more used to "matulog" & "maghanap," but they're not said that way elsewhere.

As a non-native Tagalog speaker, I find “tumulog” unusual and haven’t heard it used.

@DocCarms smart replied. They said that I should do the separate registration for the prepaid. It’s kinda redundant kasi they already have my info na from the postpaid registration. Since turn off sa akin ang duplication, I’m letting the prepaid sim expire na lang. https://twitter.com/livesmart/status/1648589241847369730

Hi there, @icheb! Thank you for your interest in SIM Registration. For prepaid, it will be a different process. You can register your SIM by simply visiting the SIM registration portal at https://smart.com.ph/simreg. I hope this guides you. Stay safe!

No thanks. Will not use prepaid na lang.
