Attached: 1 image Saw #RichardLinklater’s film Hit Man on Netflix earlier and it was one of the most fun times I’ve had while watching a movie recently. Linklater has another hit and leading man #GlenPowell was a joy to watch. One scene in particular (and you will *know* what it is if you’ve seen it) is deliciously written and so well executed that I was grinning like crazy. It’s not perfect (spoiler: the ending was anticlimactic) but I will be watching this again. #films #movies #cinemastodon #HitManMovie

Thanks for the heads up. Adding this to my Trakt watchlist since it is not yet available in my region.

Interesting legal questions! @potus@threads.net has enabled fediverse sharing, so its content is already federating to arbitrary remote servers run by different people and organizations all over the globe. I'd be curious what new legal questions bridging to Bluesky raises beyond that...?

Isn’t it that works of the US government is in the public domain?

I‘m reading The IDIC Epidemic by Jean Lorrah and on p. 22 we hear about one Dr. Geoffrey M‘Benga. How many (inofficial) names did this man have before we (officially) settled on Joseph? 🤔 #StarTrek #DrM‘Benga #TrekLit (📎1)

At least two according to Memory Beta (wiki for licensed Star Trek materials). Geoffrey and the other is Jabilo. https://memory-beta.fandom.com/wiki/Joseph_M%27Benga
