After three days on Mastodon, I'm still casually adding to my following list (61 so far) and posting into the void in an attempt to create structure for future content. Content from the local and federated tabs is too random and not curated to make any sense.

The local feeds of the big Mastodon instances like .social and .online is really random because anyone can join them. I’m still looking for a small instance that resonates with my sensibilities.

I don't want to actively look for an instance to join, so I've opted to just curate my timeline for now. Maybe I'll join an instance in the future if it's interesting enough.
