This is a picture of our small town’s parish church. Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Bauang, La Union is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines. It was founded in 1850 by the Augustinian missionaries. The church bell was removed by U.S forces in 1901 during the Filipino-American war. It was returned in 2016 after 115 years. #history #philippines
